Masks haul from The White Camellia Shop

Hello beauties!

I have a masks haul to show to you guys today. I bought these masks from an online shop based on Malaysia, The White Camellia Shop. I stumbled upon this shop on IG and I was curious on their buying & selling experience. When they had their Cyber Monday Sale last month, I grabbed the chance to make a purchase from them.

So, without further due, let's get started!

I won't be going through the details one by one as I'm going to review these masks on my instagram.

Overall, my shopping experience with this shop is good. The shipping took nearly 2 weeks to arrive and the cost of shipping to Brunei is also quite cheap too. I would totally recommend buying masks from this shop because of its affordable price and good customer service.

First Impression: Tonymoly Floria Firming Body Cream

Hello lovelies!

I got this Tonymoly's firming cream in one of the random box that I purchased from Jolse a few months ago

DESCRIPTION:

Body cream is rich in nourishing pink mallow, making skin feel firm and elastic.

SIZE:
200ml

HOW TO USE:
After taking a bath or a shower, towel dry your body, and apply an appropriate amount to the body in a massaging motion.
This product has to be used within 12 months after opening.

INGREDIENTS LIST:

The main ingredients are Mallow & Pink Flower Complex (hibiscus, rose and peach blossom)

Mallow extract has an incredible soothing properties due to its strong anti-inflammatory action.

Hibiscus extract is rich in antioxidants which helps to repair free radical damage and also slows down the ageing of our cells. It also has Vitamin C which helps to clear acne marks.

Rose water contain antioxidants and antibacterial compounds which helps to soothe the skin and also dry out the acne.

Peach blossom extract is known for helping to diminish skin problems such as pimples, dark spot and blackheads.

Thus cream is free from parabens, talc, triethanolamine, alcohols, and mineral oils.

PACKAGING:

This product does not come with any box or plastic wrapping. It only comes with a tub itself and sealed with a sticker. The colour of the tub is so pretty, a pastel peach/pink colour decorated with flowers with a black twist-off cap.

There's an inner lid inside to keep the product fresh.

FIRST IMPRESSION:

It has a light, whipping cream-like texture and smells amazing. If you don't like floral smell, then this isn't for you. It didn't feel heavy on my skin. What I notice was that my skin felt soft and smooth after usage and it didn't long for it to absorb, too.

This firming cream is suitable for those who want to prevent stretch marks, sagging skin and also the loss of skin elasticity.

PROS:

Skin felt soft and supple

CONS:
Bulky
Not travel-friendly

WHERE TO BUY:
I think this product is being discontinued since most of the websites that I checked are no longer selling this product, as in "sold out", so I'm not quite sure on that.

Collective empties for the month of August - November 2017

Hello my lovelies!

It's been months since I last updated my empties post. The last time I post about my empties was back in July. This time, it will be a collective empties from the month of August - November 2017, so please bear with me though I don't have that much empties which explains why I rarely post my empties nowadays.

Anyway, let's start with the full sized products and samples first, shall we?

Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch - 3

Description:

The thin, lightweight material seals around the acne to protect from bacteria and dirt. The patch adheres to the skin well and can be detached without irritating the skin. It covers the acne while keeping the moist and absorbing the exudation, thus reducing the risk of further infection.

Thoughts:

These are my HG! It did as it claims to do which is to suck out the white gunk from your pimple, thus reducing the size of your pimple. Definitely my lifesaver!

Tonymoly BCDation Moisture Cover Cushion

Description:
The base cushion keeps makeup flawless and moisturized for a long time due to its moisture ingredient.

Thoughts:

I love this cushion despite its weaknesses. I've had actually reviewed this cushion previously, so click here if you haven't read it.

Hand & Nail Therapy Collection Shea Butter Hand Cream

Description:
The only description that I can find is that it is highly moisturizing within 5 seconds effect.

Thoughts:

I got this as a freebie and what I can say is that, this is not moisturizing at all. It has a nice scent but, that's it. It's lucky that I got this as a freebie and not something that I purchased.

Holika Holika Skin & AC Mild Soothing Emulsion

Description:
The moisturizing emulsion provides abundant moisture to problem areas without leaving any sticky residue on skin.

Thoughts:

I finally finished using this emulsion after 6-7 months, I think? Back then, I used to have an oily skin and this is a great soothing emulsion for me due to its light weight texture. But now that I have a combination skin, I rarely used it. The only downside is that it contains alcohol which is pretty high on the list of ingredients so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who are sensitive to alcohol.

Secret Key Witch-Hazel Pore Clear Toner

Description:
Witch-hazel contracts pores, regulates sebum, supplies moisture and moisturize with its excellent soothing and astringent effect. Its tannin substance increases the elasticity in pores so as to helpful to contract pores. And it removes harmful oxygen and various dusts and sweat. It also gently removing excess oil, dirt without over drying.

Thoughts:

I love the scent, it smells so fresh. This toner also leaves my skin hydrated and soft after usage but in terms of pores, I didn't see any difference during my usage. It is pretty affordable, so I give it credit for that. I think I'm going to try other variants such as the aloe one.

Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

Description:
Formulated with purifying botanical ingredients, this low pH formula works to soothe, refresh, and soften the skin without the stripping feeling.

Thoughts:

Another cosrx product which earned its HG status from me! It didn't leave my skin feeling tight or squeaky clean after cleansing but soften my skin instead. The tea tree scent is one of the major factors on why I love this cleanser!

Tonymoly Egg Pore Nose Pack

Description:
Removes with charcoal, tightens with camellia flower and egg white. Strong absorbent effective for deep blackheads and sebum.

Thoughts:

I got this as a freebie during my purchase with Eopenmarket. Blackheads are one of my concerns and to be honest, before knowing what harm can nose strips done to our pores, I constantly use it like twice a week. 😱 Not to worry, I'm not using it regularly nowadays.
Back to this nose strip, it really strip the gunk out from my pores. Hm, quite satisfied.

Nature Republic Natural Olive Scalp Cooling Hair Pack

Description:

With hair starting from the scalp, it is important to keep scalp healthy with Nature Republic’s Natural Olive Scalp Cooling Hair Pack.

This hair pack nourishes and calms the scalp with olive oil and peppermint oil.

Menthol and peppermint extract ingredients also helps to cleanse dead skin cells from the scalp.

Thoughts:

I got this from the lucky box that I bought from Eopenmarket. The smell of olive is not that strong so I can handle it when I washed my hair. The colour is green it reminds me of slime. Yuck. My scalp did felt nice due to its cooling sensation. But I don't think I would repurchase this.

Purito Snail Clearing BB Cream

Description:
This total solution BB Cream provides skin with both UV A and B and with Adenosine and Niacinamide, it whitens your skin, and provides wrinkle care to protect skin from darkening, evening tone, and decreasing signs of aging for healthier and clearer skin.

Thoughts:

Again, I got this from Eopenmarket's lucky box. Purito is a brand from Eopenmarket and this was my first time hearing about it. I don't know which shade I got for the sample but the shade runs a bit too light for me with a greyish tone. But what I love is that my skin felt moisturized and dewy while using this and there's no cakey look, thanks to the snail extract!
I might consider purchasing the full sized product but I still have a few more samples left so we'll see about that.

Purito Snail Repair Advanced 91 Serum - 3

Description:
This product contains 91% high concentration of snail mucus extract helps to heal acne, fade acne scars, brighten skin tone, and maintain hydration throughout the day. It also ensures tight viscosity, providing efficient total care that regenerates the skin and solves complex skin problems.

Thoughts:

Another Purito samples i got from the lucky box. Aside from snail mucus extract, this product also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C. Upon opening the sachet, the smell wafted through the air. It has a pungent smell, ugh, but I tried to bear with it and used 3 sachets for nearly two weeks. Each sachet is enough for 4 usages and I only used this at night. I didn't find any brightening effect except that it leaves my skin soft. Not going to repurchase as I still have some of these left and plus the effect is not that amazing.

Declutter:

Holika Holika Sweet Cotton Pore Cover Base

The reason I threw this away is because it breaks me out! Not going to repurchase this!

3W Clinic Fresh Green Tea Mask Sheet

Description:
This is a sheet-type mask with a variety of aesthetic constituents including green tea extracts. It will improve tired looking skin, leaving it smooth and hydrated. This hypoallergenic mask sheet stays attached to the face along with the natural skin texture, and will provide a soothing comfort for your skin.

Thoughts:

Compared with the last time I used this sheet mask from 3W Clinic, my skin doesn't love this nowadays due to the tingling sensation it gave upon masking. So I won't be repurchasing this anymore despite its cheap price.

The Face Shop Bio-Cell Recovery Face Mask - 2

The Face Shop Bio-Cell Moisturizing Face Mask

Description:

This moisturizing face mask features a naturally adhesive bio-cellulose sheet and a hydrating serum containing multi-sized Hyaluronic Acid particles. (Dermatologist Tested / Formulated without added parabens)

Thoughts:

Another bio-cell mask series that I love! It moisturizes my face well without feeling tacky. My skin was left plump and soft throughout the day and the effect lasted for 2 days.

LomiLomi 7 Skin Scheduler Sunday Healing Mask - Jasmine

Description:

This is highly enriched product of Jasmine Extract and skin activators, and nutritional contents on the sheet with excellent skin adhesion and absorption. It cares oil and moisture, blocks toxic substances to skin and makes moisturizing and elastic skin

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Tea Tree

Description:

This sheet mask with tea tree oil helps with the appearance of skin problems while keeping skin moisturized and clean.

Thoughts:

It smells like nail polish but it wasn't that strong. The essence is a bit watery, but has a thick consistency than water. The mask fits my face except for the large area at the forehead and at the chin, which I had to fold. Overall, my skin didn't feel that moisturized. Hm, strange. This was just an okay mask for me.

My beauty Diary Damask Rose Mask - 6

The Face Shop Real Nature Peony Face Mask

Description:

The mask sheer drenched in serum with the vibrant life energy of Peony provides skin with illumination radiance.

Thoughts:

It smells so heavenly and has a milky viscous consistency. There are no itchiness and tackiness. My face just feels so soft and plump. Price is affordable too, a plus for that.

The Face Shop Real Nature Goji Berry Face Mask

Description:

The mask sheet drenched in serum with ultra nourishing Goji Berry gives flaky, dehydrated skin a surge of moisture.

Thoughts:

This smells good. It did as it claims to do which is to give moisture to my dehydrated skin but I was expecting more from this. I'm going to try this again and I plan to repurchase to see if there are other effects that I haven't take note of.
