Hello lovelies!
I have a product from the brand Elizavecca to share with you guys here.
Now, how should I start? I bought this mainly because I'm in need of an eye cream at that time and I found that this was one of the best selling eye cream in Jolse, I think? I forgot. But anyway, after knowing that bird's nest extract was one of the top ingredients in this product, I quickly add this to my cart and checkout. I mean, come on, bird's nest is sooooo beneficial to the skin.
DESCRIPTION:
Use the extract 50% of the swallow abundantly the skin.
Given the moisturizing power and elasticity, improve the barrier of the skin texture and skin.
Moisturizing not sticky by fermenting oil obtained from natural.
Product description credits to Jolse
SIZE:
100ml
HOW TO USE:
Take proper amount, spread evenly across the face and absorb it.
INGREDIENTS LIST:
I would like to point out that this product contains 2 active ingredients which are niacinamide and adenosine. Both ingredients help with the skin whitening and also relieve wrinkles respectively.
As for the other ingredients list, it can be found at Cosdna
PACKAGING:
Honestly, the packaging is sooooo pretty! The product comes in plastic tub enclosed in a square box with gold linings along the edges.
There's the typical Elizavecca logo printed on top. Will you look at that proud bunny wearing sunglasses and a cute ribbon? So cute!
There's a picture of a chubby looking birdie applying the cream itself onto its face. Omg this doubles up the cuteness!
Meanwhile, Elizavecca has this sort of 16 digits thingy to verify whether the product is original or fake.
It's all written in Korean but thankfully, there's an English translation for some.
At the bottom of the tub, you can find the expiration date.
REVIEW:
So, I used it for 2-3 weeks and at first, I really like this product. It has a much thicker consistency and the smell is just like baby's lotion or whatever it is. All I need is a tiny than pea-sized amount and dab it on my eye areas with my ring finger in a soft motion. You know, a little goes a long way It's moisturizing, yes. But I found out that it took a longer time to sink in.
That's not the problem. After using it for 1 week, I noticed a few small white bumps forming on my under eye area. I had a suspicion that this cream was the cause of it because the only product that I add into my routine is this one. So, I decided to stop using it for a while until those bumps cleared out. Once they're cleared out, I continue back on using the cream. And guess what? A week after, the bumps came back and I was pretty sure that this cream is the culprit behind it.
I don't really know what those bumps were so I google-ed it and found out that the bumps turn out to be milia, which happens when skin-care and makeup products clog up pores. It can also occur when keratin gets trapped under the surface of the skin.
I stop using it for my under eyes immediately but I found a good use to it though. Instead of disposing it, I applied this onto neck because this cream is so moisturizing and it makes my neck feels soft. Let's hope with continuous usage, it can help to smooth out the veryyyyy fine wrinkles on my neck.
PROS:
Super cute packaging
Contains bird's nest extract
Large tub for an eye cream
Moisturizing
Affordable price
Spatula included for hygiene purposes
CONS:
Scent can be a bit overwhelming
Took longer to sink in
Thick consistency which is not suitable for an eye cream
Caused milia to formed on my under eye areas
OVERALL:
For an eye cream, this doesn't bode well on my eye area so I wouldn't recommend this to you guys. But on the other hand, I'm currently using it as a neck cream because it just makes my skin feels soft to the touch.
RATING:
4/10 (we'll see how it goes on my neck after a few more weeks)
WHERE TO BUY:
You can purchase it at Jolse
for USD11.53 + free shipping.
Have you guys try out this eye cream yet? Do share with me your experience in using this! ^^
