REVIEW: TONYMOLY BCDATION MOISTURE COVER CUSHION

Today, I'll be reviewing on the Tonymoly BCDation Moisture Cover Cushion.

Description:

The base cushion keeps makeup flawless and moisturized for a long time due to its moisture ingredient.

SIZE:

This cushion only contains 10g, which is less product than other cushions.

SHADES:

They offer 2 shades which you can chose from depending on your skintone:-

#1 Skin Beige
#2 Warm Beige

WHAT IT DOES:
Tony Moly claims that this cushion has a triple functions of whitening, wrinkle improvement and UV protection. It also claims to make our skin tone looks shiny and provides a smooth coverage which means that this cushion is suppose to make your skin look flawless for the whole day.

HOW TO USE:
Take an appropriate amount of the base with the puff and gently tap on the whole face.

PACKAGING:

I'm using the flash so that you can see the manufactured date.

It comes in a black cardboard box with white wordings. On the inside, you can find the elegant black compact with reflective surface.
Beware though, traces of fingerprints and scratches can be seen across the surface.
There is an expiration date and some basic information about this cushion at the back. The product should be used up within 12 months after opening it.

A closer look.

The BCDation Moisture Cover Cushion comes with a plain white/black puff.
You can see a separator lid used to separate the cushion from the puff and also to store the cushion from air.
There's a sticker sealed covering the product upon opening the lid.
As you can see from the images above, you have to press a little harder to get out the product.

The TonyMoly BCDation Moisture Cover Cushion+ has a SPF50+ and PA+++ which is pretty high and suitable for summer.
It has a floral scent which I quite love.
This cushion has a pretty low to medium coverage! It does not fully cover blemishes completely but at least, it makes them less noticeable.
Although I have a combo skin, I prefer cushions/bb creams/foundations that gives me a dewy finish but this cushion does not complies with the name. I bought this because of the word 'Moisture' but it only gives me that semi-matte instead of 'chok-chok' finish.
This cushion also tends to look cakey especially around your smile lines so I suggest you guys to be careful when applying this onto your face.
The lasting power was amazing though! It lasted me throughout the whole day, roughly around 7-8 hours even without setting powder except at the nose part at which I had to reapply it.
It also did a good job in hiding my blackheads but not so much on pores.
I think this cushion would work for people with non-sensitive & combination skin because they don't have to worry about it highlighting any dry areas.

Not all of your blemishes will be covered
Doesn't give you that shiny skin tone as it claims
Less product
Tends to look cakey around your smile lines

Not suitable for those who are sensitive to fragrance

OVERALL:
I love using this cushion despite its weaknesses but it's definitely not one of my HG though. I might consider repurchasing the refills but on the other hand, I would like to try different cushions to find which one really suits me.

Two mini hauls from BB Cosmetic & Wishtrend

How have you been? Today, I wanted to share with you guys another mini hauls which I had just received on 20/07/17.

I shop a lot. I know, I know. I can't help it. But this will be the last haul for the time being because college has just started and I'm trying to save up some money.

Anyway, on with the haul.

BB Cosmetic

Instead of cardboard box, my items were packed inside a parcel like the K-packet without any bubble wraps. But at least, nothing was damaged during the transit.

I only ordered one item, Holika Holika Sweet Cotton Pore Cover Base and was surprised to see the amount of samples given.

If you guys have been following my blog, you should know that samples are  my weakness! It's one of the things that I would like to receive with every order made from any korean online shop. The fact that I only ordered one item and yet received a total of 9 free samples made me want to shop with BB Cosmetic again in the future.

 It has a cute packaging with soft pastel colours which got me squealing in joy!

It contains 25ml of product.

 The expiration date was printed at the back. This was on sale for half of the price because it's nearing the expiration date. I bought this for USD 3.99.

 There's a silver foil when you took off the cap.

 The cap is twist-able.

It has a soft and light texture with a floral scent to it. So this might not be suitable for those who are sensitive to fragrance.

Moving on to my next parcel, Wishtrend

My next order also comes in a parcel but this time it's nothing like the K-packet, more like a plastic without any protection at all since it's easier for my items to move around in that plastic packaging.

Now this is where I'm actually quite a bit disappointed. See the condition of that cardboard box? Sigh.

I dislike it when my item is only wrap with one layer of bubble wrap.

 Thankfully, the actual packaging is not damaged.

Contains 250ml of product. Wow.

There's a silver foil protecting the product inside.

I have yet to try this product thought but I will let you know once I use this product in the future.

Besides, they also gave me samples so that's another plus for them. I just wished that they could have been more generous with the amount of bubble wraps used to packed the items.
