The Face Shop Olive Essential Cream

This cream is recommended for those with normal skin but it works fine on my skin. (I have a combination skin)

It moisturizes my face pretty well and the scent is quite refreshing.

Rating: 8/10

Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet (Tea Tree)

I love the effects this mask provides to my face, both cooling and refreshing. I was having a slight breakout at that time and this really helps to soothe the irritation along with my redness. Plus, the tea tree scent is not that bothersome. So yes, I’m willing to purchase this again.

The Face Shop The Solution Soothing Face Mask (I threw this earlier which explains why I didn't include it in the group picture above)

Another face mask which really soothes my skin after spending a hot day under the sun. It has a calming effect and it feels good to slap this on your face afterwards, trust me.

 3W Clinic Fresh Green Tea Mask Sheet (I also threw this away earlier)

It’s refreshing. I kinda like it. I didn’t expect the mask to fit onto my face as most of the people who tried this on said that the mask is pretty small and doesn’t adhere well but surprisingly, it did. My skin also felt plumper. The only downside is that it is a little bit sticky but not to the point that it makes you look gross or anything.

The Face Shop Real Nature Face Mask (Mung Bean)

This face mask doesn’t tighten my pores at all and I didn’t notice any differences on my skin after using this. My skin also felt irritated after application.

April Skin Magic Snow Cushion SPF50 PA+++

I was intrigued by this cushion when they promoted it last year so I ended up buying the black version. I got mine in the shade #22 Pink Beige.

It claims to provide a full coverage with just one layer so that’s definitely a catch. However, the cushion doesn’t do as it claims and it looks cakey on my face. It is also pretty expensive. I got this on a local store for BND40 (roughly around USD27.8). The only thing I like about this cushion is the sweet scent. Enough said. Not going to repurchase this.

Heimish All Clean Balm

My expectation for this product was really high so I’m glad I was able to try out the sample before purchasing the full sized item. The sample packaging is soooo cute! And oh boy, am I glad to know that this does wonder to my skin. I didn’t have any breakout or irritation upon using this product and I’m happy to say that this has definitely become one of my HG beauty products. Now, I’m waiting for my full sized Heimish All Clean Balm that I ordered from Jolse to arrive so yeap. Can’t wait for it!

A’pieu Essential Source Micro Essence (Pure Bright)

I seriously love the scent of this product, kinda like a rose scent but it does have a sweet scent. It also makes my skin feel soft and smooth. Although I would love to purchase the full sized product but my main target is to have an essence that can repair damaged skin. So I would recommend this for those who want to have a plump and supple skin.

Luke Charcoal Nose Cleansing Strip

This is so good, like seriously. I have been looking for this brand just because of this nose strip but I still can’t find any. It really pulls out most of the blackheads on my nose and I have to say, I do have stubborn blackheads so knowing that there is another nose strip of different brand that were able to do that (aside from the Jeju Volcanic Lava Volcanic Ash Nose Strip from The Face Shop) really amazed me. If you guys know which Korean online websites selling this brand, please do let me know in the comment section below. Thanks!

Missha M Perfect Skin Tone CC Cream SPF30 PA++ (No.01 Vital Tone) Pinkish Fair

The color matched my skin tone but the coverage is not that great for me.

Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam (4-5 usages)

Hm…it smells like detergent(?) LOL. But it made my skin super soft after cleansing. It has a tiny grain texture which also acts as a mild scrub though I wouldn’t recommend this to those who have a sensitive skin.

Rating: 6/10

A'pieu Soo Boo Ji Start Toner

It has a slightly thicker consistency than water and kinda have a citrus(?) scent to it. What I did notice is that it does eliminate excess oil from my face but that’s it. Nothing special.

Rating: 4/10

A'pieu Soo Boo Ji Finish Cream

This cream is not heavy as I expected but I did feel a warm tingling sensation upon applying it on my face but nothing serious though.

Rating: 3/10 (-1 because of the sensation)

Missha All-Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk

A bit watery and smells like a normal sun cream. Good thing is that it doesn’t really leave a white cast on your face. Bad thing is that this sun cream really breaks me out. Ugh.

Declutter:

Holika Holika Floral Shea Hand Cream (Cherry Blossom)

Hate the smell. Doesn’t do as it claims.

Holika Holika Super Cara (No.02 Super Curl)

Not waterproof. Doesn’t really give that curling effect. So, a big NO for this mascara.

K-BEAUTY HAUL: RoseRoseShop

Warning: Long post ahead

I’m finally in the mood to post another haul in my blog which was from RRS. If you’ve been reading my previous posts, I did mention that I’ve been waiting for my package from RRS to arrive. So, the package arrived at the post office last week and I had a lot of paperwork to do. I will tell you why.

I placed the order on the 29^th April 2017 and RRS processed it on the 30^th April. On the 3^rd May, I’ve received an email from them notifying me that the items have been shipped along with the tracking number. So, I was super excited and when I check the website to track my package, it’s not listed there. It turns out that they only started to ship my items on the 8^th May instead. And I was like, “ooookaaaay. I thought they said they’re going to ship the items on the 3^rd?” 

But I just let it slide since I understand they had some kind of holidays there at that time.

My parcel actually arrived at my country on the 12^th May but due to customs clearance, it got held up and has only been released to the post office on the 15^th May. The next day, I got a call from them and so I went there to pick up my items.

Now, here’s the thing. Upon checking my parcel on the spot, I’ve noticed that there are 4 items missing from my order. I was supposed to receive 18 items but instead, I got 14. I double checked again and again, counting the items repeatedly even the officers there looked at me like I’m some kind of a weirdo. LOL. So, I have to fill in the form for the missing items and other paperwork blablabla just because of those 4 missing items and it took me roughly around 2 hours to settle the paperwork ><

Once I got home, I straight away emailed RRS regarding on the missing items and they replied me the next day. (I do appreciate the speedy action though.) Thankfully, they’re willing to issue a refund but I requested for them to re-send the items. I’ve actually requested for DHL but they told me that I have to pay for an extra USD4.06 so nope, I’m going to stick with EMS. (The shipping cost is covered by RRS in the case for missing items and since I paid for EMS earlier, so yeah that’s why they’re using EMS.)

But I’m not happy with the processing time though. You see, I emailed them on the 16^th May, but they just shipped my items yesterday which was on the 23^rd May. At least that’s what they said in the email that I’ve received. BUT, as usual, when I checked the tracking website this morning, there’s nothing.

But oh well, let’s just hope my items arrived in good condition.

Alright now, so on with the haul! I actually planned to buy 2-3 skincare products but omg when I saw the price, I just went crazy with my shopping so I ended up buying a lot. Luckily, I’m currently on my holiday so at least I can still save a bit before my next semester.

RRS is known for its cheap price compared to other Korean websites and they’re constantly having a sale for different brands. So yeap, that’s definitely a plus. The only downside is the shipping cost which is pretty expensive. I paid roughly around USD27.74 for the EMS. Oh and also, you have to request for the samples too -.-

Anyway, here’s what I got from RRS.

The first thing I got is the TonyMoly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel. I've read reviews saying that this peeling gel provides an instant brightening effect.

The next item is the COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser. Just another restock.

I also got The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil and Secret Key Witch Hazel Pore Clear Toner. Both also have great reviews and this is my first time trying a product from Secret Key. I hope it really lives up to its expectation.

Next is the Skinfood Pure Cotton Puff. It only retails at USD0.83 so why not. I'm curious to know the difference between the ordinary cotton puffs with this cotton puffs from Skinfood.

I decided to buy another headband since my old one is too thick and some colorful mini sponges.

And look closely at the bottle! I bought not only for its fragrance but also for the fact that it looks shimmery and omg it's so pretty!!!!

K-BEAUTY HAUL: JOLSE

OMG GUYS!

MY PARCEL HAS JUST ARRIVED THIS MORNING FROM JOLSE.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting for it to arrive today since they only started to ship it on 10th May 2017 and luckily for me, it only took 3 days for the package to arrive. (Via DHL, of course)

Date ordered: 01st May 2017

Date shipped: 10th May 2017

Delivery date: 13th May 2017

Overall, I'm satisfied with the shipping process even though it took them more than a week to process my order. But that's understandable, since they had a long holiday during the 1st week of May due to several occasions. I'm still waiting for my other parcel from RRS though -.- Hmmm.

Jolse sell their products at a reasonable price because of the free shipping they provide to the customers. YAY. But you have to pay for an additional USD2.50 if you want the tracking number for your parcel. However if you spend over USD40, you're entitle for a free standard shipping along with the tracking number. In my case, I was entitled for free EMS shipping as my order was over USD150. Hooray, Jolse!

Anyway, this haul is comprised of items ordered by 5 people including myself. LOL

They bubble wrapped the items really nicely. And even the box itself was taped at the edges to make it more sturdy.

I need an eye cream which can brighten my dark circles and this product from Elizavecca claims to do so and I was like,

Jolse emailed me on the 11th May 2017, a day after they shipped my parcel, that the blusher was not available and I was quite disappointed they didn't email me earlier on before the shipment. But it's okay though, at least they refunded back my money on the same day that they emailed me. /Shrugs
