Mini haul from StyleKorean

Greetings lovelies!

I have a mini haul to share with you guys which is from StyleKorean.

This is my first time ordering from StyleKorean. I've had always been avoiding from shopping at them due to their products being slightly pricier compared to other online shops.

But curiousity got the better of me so that's why I just ordered 2 items from them.

The two products are:-
1) The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil in #02 Gray Brown
2) Innisfree Jeju Perfumed Hand Cream in Wild Berry

Packaging wise, they bubble wrapped my products securely in about the right size to fit into the small cardboard box that they used to ship out. The box was quite sturdy so no harm done.

But guys, seriously, just look at the samples! I only bought 2 products and yet they gave me 5 samples 😍 If you guys have been following my blog, you'll know that i always love love love samples and when one provides so many samples, it encourages me to purchase from them again.

The samples that I received are:-
Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin
The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur Panthenol Soothing Gel Cream
Benton Fermentation Eye Cream
Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel
16brand 365 Foundation SPF30 / PA++

Shipping time
Date ordered: 31/10/17
Date shipped: 03/11/17
Date arrived: 27/11/17
Date received: 28/11/17

Hmm, the shipping took more than 3 weeks to arrive but that's okay.

Shipping Rate
The shipping is based on the weight of the products, so they heavier the items, the more you have to pay.

Customer Service
Quite good, to be honest. Here's the story, I actually bought the Innisfree hand cream during their 1+1 event. Right after I received a notification that my order has been shipped, I received another email from StyleKorean's Korean Cosmetic Online Manager stating that one of the hand cream was out of stock. So, they offered me two options either to refund via StyleKorean's points or via paypal.

The response was quick, which I'm quite grateful for. If I had to comment something, I think there's only a slight problem which is regarding the out of stock products. I would really appreciate it if they did inform about it earlier before they shipped out the order. But yeah, overall, I'm satisfied.

Overall
Even though StyleKorean is considered one of the pricier place to shop for your k-beauty products, but they do have some sales going on sometimes where they products might be cheaper than at other places so you just have to keep your eyes out on those! I'm still waiting for my second order to arrive because like I said, the sales are reaaaalllly good!

In conclusion, good customer service with a decent shipping period along with their generosity in giving out more samples, StyleKorean totally nailed it! Thumbs up for that.

Until my next post!

Review: Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest B-JO Eye Want Cream

Hello lovelies!

I have a product from the brand Elizavecca to share with you guys here.

Now, how should I start? I bought this mainly because I'm in need of an eye cream at that time and I found that this was one of the best selling eye cream in Jolse, I think? I forgot. But anyway, after knowing that bird's nest extract was one of the top ingredients in this product, I quickly add this to my cart and checkout. I mean, come on, bird's nest is sooooo beneficial to the skin.

DESCRIPTION:
Use the extract 50% of the swallow abundantly the skin.
Given the moisturizing power and elasticity, improve the barrier of the skin texture and skin.
Moisturizing not sticky by fermenting oil obtained from natural.

Product description credits to Jolse

SIZE:
100ml

HOW TO USE:
Take proper amount, spread evenly across the face and absorb it.

INGREDIENTS LIST:
I would like to point out that this product contains 2 active ingredients which are niacinamide and adenosine. Both ingredients help with the skin whitening and also relieve wrinkles respectively.
As for the other ingredients list, it can be found at Cosdna

PACKAGING:

Honestly, the packaging is sooooo pretty! The product comes in plastic tub enclosed in a square box with gold linings along the edges.

There's the typical Elizavecca logo printed on top. Will you look at that proud bunny wearing sunglasses and a cute ribbon? So cute!

There's a picture of a chubby looking birdie applying the cream itself onto its face. Omg this doubles up the cuteness!
Meanwhile, Elizavecca has this sort of 16 digits thingy to verify whether the product is original or fake.
It's all written in Korean but thankfully, there's an English translation for some.

As for the tub itself, it comes with a twist off cap and you can see there's an inner lid on the inside. On top of the inner lid, there's a cute white spatula included. Both the inner lid and the spatula have the brand logo printed on each.
At the bottom of the tub, you can find the expiration date.

REVIEW:

So, I used it for 2-3 weeks and at first, I really like this product. It has a much thicker consistency and the smell is just like baby's lotion or whatever it is. All I need is a tiny than pea-sized amount and dab it on my eye areas with my ring finger in a soft motion. You know, a little goes a long way It's moisturizing, yes. But I found out that it took a longer time to sink in.

That's not the problem. After using it for 1 week, I noticed a few small white bumps forming on my under eye area. I had a suspicion that this cream was the cause of it because the only product that I add into my routine is this one. So, I decided to stop using it for a while until those bumps cleared out. Once they're cleared out, I continue back on using the cream. And guess what? A week after, the bumps came back and I was pretty sure that this cream is the culprit behind it.

I don't really know what those bumps were so I google-ed it and found out that the bumps turn out to be milia, which happens when skin-care and makeup products clog up pores. It can also occur when keratin gets trapped under the surface of the skin.

I stop using it for my under eyes immediately but I found a good use to it though. Instead of disposing it, I applied this onto neck because this cream is so moisturizing and it makes my neck feels soft. Let's hope with continuous usage, it can help to smooth out the veryyyyy fine wrinkles on my neck.

PROS:
Super cute packaging
Contains bird's nest extract
Large tub for an eye cream
Moisturizing
Affordable price
Spatula included for hygiene purposes

CONS:
Scent can be a bit overwhelming
Took longer to sink in
Thick consistency which is not suitable for an eye cream
Caused milia to formed on my under eye areas

OVERALL:
For an eye cream, this doesn't bode well on my eye area so I wouldn't recommend this to you guys. But on the other hand, I'm currently using it as a neck cream because it just makes my skin feels soft to the touch.

RATING:
4/10 (we'll see how it goes on my neck after a few more weeks)

WHERE TO BUY:
You can purchase it at Jolse
for USD11.53 + free shipping.

Have you guys try out this eye cream yet? Do share with me your experience in using this! ^^

Disclaimer: I bought this product with my own money so I am not paid to do this review.

HOW TO USE:
After washing your face, spread the sheet mask evenly over the face, leave it for 15~30 minutes and remove the mask, gently pat until fully absorb. This is a daily care product that is helpful to skin everyday.

INGREDIENTS LIST:
The ingredients list can be found here.
This mask is free from parabens , animal proteins , mineral oil , sulfate .

PACKAGING:
This mask has a white & yellow themed packaging with a picture of the flower Jasmine printed on the front. Meanwhile, most of the instructions are printed in Korean except for the description and directions of using it. As for the expiry date, it can be found at the bottom.

REVIEW:
The mask comes without any additional plastic/backing. It smells heavenly jasmine, obviously. The sheet is very hard to rip, so I really love it. The fit is okay except the edges didn't really reach the sides of my face. It has something extra which are the eye flaps but a bit too small for my eyes. The sheet mask adheres well on my face as I managed to sit up right with no worry of this sliding off. After 30 minutes of using it, what I noticed is that it gave me a glowing and healthy looking skin which I'm quite surprised of. My face also felt more moisturized after that and the effect lasted me for two days. Though it did felt tingly at first but the feeling subsides after a few minutes upon usage. The essence is a tiny bit sticky and it lingers for a while before sinking into the skin.

OVERALL:
Overall, I really love this mask because it did what it claims to do!

RATING:
10/10

You can purchase this at Skin18
